Our Philosophy

The connection of past and present in the house’s architecture is also reflected in our philosophy of gastronomy. We use the best quality ingredients in our restaurant, and we prepare everything freshly. We try to use more and more local ingredients to prepare fine and home-style-taste dishes. The Tiszavirág Restaurant is the best restaurant of Szeged according to Gault&Millau 2017 restaurant and hotel guide. The target of our enthusiastic team, is to put Szeged on the map of the country’s gastronomy and to welcome the guests travelling to our town in a unique way, just like at home.

The menu is the perfect blend of traditional Hungarian and international meals. Our guests are welcomed by informal and friendly staff. The bar – accessible from the street – has a great variety of carefully selected wines and a choice of cocktails that will accompany a lovely evening with friends.
